The Direct Marketing Association recently announced the winners of its 2011 Innovation Awards, who were bestowed honors for their achievements in direct and digital marketing technology. The winners will be presented their award amongst their peers at the DMA2011 Annual Conference and Exhibition in October.

Co-sponsored by Google and Canoe Ventures, the awards recognize innovation in marketing technology such as new-to-market offers, market-leading solutions and new approaches to improve campaigns' efficiency and effectiveness. Bruce Biegel, managing director of the Winterberry Group and an Innovation Awards judge, said 2011 was the toughest year of selections because of the proliferation of leading-edge solution and technologies presented.

"We are extremely proud of the winners, as I know their solutions will be the new game changing moments in marketing technology," Biegel said.

The DMA conference in October will bring together 10,000 marketing professionals from around the world, to discuss the latest developments and best practices for successful integrated marketing campaigns. Topics to be addressed at the conference include how to effectively integrate multiple channels such as mobile, print and email, understand what is needed to leverage data, and learn new strategies for optimization.
