Providing the answer for the storage needs of small businesses, Western Digital (WD), a leader in digital storage solutions, will now be offering a storage server product for small businesses. Teaming up with Microsoft, WD’s technologies can accommodate small businesses with complete storage.

“By combining Microsoft’s platform with WD’s strength in the storage market, the two organizations bring extraordinary synergies that boost productivity and efficiency for small business,” said Nick Parker, WD’s vice president of worldwide marketing for the OEM division at Microsoft.

According to Forrester Research, 53 percent of small businesses will increase spending on storage. In response to this number, WD and Microsoft’s service will have access to the most advanced online features making it possible to share files worldwide with clients, consultants, and satellite offices.

Other services that WD and Microsoft’s storage servers will offer are dependable, high-speed access to data, coupled with full backup and recovery. With small businesses relying more than ever on technology, and most importantly, the internet, these are necessities for a small business. The product will make connection, protection, and online collaboration a breeze.
