According to Constant Contact, 66 percent of marketing professionals want to use social media to reach new customers, and 65 percent want to leverage the technology to collect customer feedback on events and products. The two main reasons marketers add social media to their integrated campaigns are to boost consumer bases and improve communication with customers. Of marketers hosting live events, 90 percent prefer to use Facebook when encouraging customers to attend the event.
