Comparz.com launched today and will be providing more than 27 million small and mid-sized businesses in the U.S. with reviews and rankings of services for and decision tools provided by experts.
The new site, aptly nicknamed the "Yelp" for business-to-business services, is equipped with easy to understand Decision Guides, and in-depth user reviews and rankings in areas including customer and lead management, email marketing and online data backup. Comparz Founder and CEO Rachel Blankstein understood the need for user reviews between businesses.
"We also found that most businesses are shopping for a technology or service provider several times a per year and that users find the current options to be too time consuming and not helpful," said Blankstein.
Also newly launched is the Small Business Advisory Group in Ireland, with the goal of creating dialogue between the Minister for Small Business John Perry and small business owners.
According to the Director of the Small Firms Association, Patricia Callan, the formation of this group is an acknowledgment by the government that small businesses are important to the Irish economy. Callan expects the forum to address concerns of small businesses in a supportive environment.
