The United States Postal Service recently announced it will be hosting a Grow Your Business Day workshop in Fall River, Massachusetts. The workshop aims to help small businesses learn how to utilize direct mail for marketing campaigns to increase consumer bases and improve revenue streams.

The workshop will be led by postal experts who will discuss how easily direct mail campaigns can be measured, customized and target specific consumers in the local community. Marketers can learn how to grow their business in an affordable and efficient way. Attendees will also learn how to utilize the Postal Service's direct mail hub, a website that offers best practices for direct mail campaigns.

Direct mail is also being used by other countries trying to attract U.S. consumers to their tourist spots or to purchase their product. For example, Chile recently launched a new blueberry brochure that provides comprehensive nutrition information to U.S. consumers to help increase sales of the berries in America, FruitNet reported.

The detailed brochure offers eye-grabbing graphics, in-depth information on the fruit and a variety of ways to service the produce to family and friends.
