New program allows marketers to customize mailers

Mudlick Mail recently launched a new mailing program that allows marketers to customize their direct mail pieces for each household or business. The Variable Data postcards can be tailored with personalized messages to meet customer needs. The companies will be able to show they care about the customer while reminding them of relevant products and services that may interest them based on their purchasing history.

Mudlick realized that customized marketing messages to individual consumers can increase response rates by 44 percent.

"The variable data program helps shop owners build long-term relationships with customers by giving them the ability to customize their offers based on a household's buying behavior, interests and life events," said Mudlick Mail President Tim Ross.

This program could prove profitable for companies such as Titan Travel, which recently sent out its second-edition Worldwide Brochure that includes more than half of the 153 itineraries available to travellers through the company.

The brochure features engaging graphics and detailed itineraries so travelers can browse their options before making any arrangements. If the brochures were personalized based on previous trips, travelers could view details on excursions to spots similar to where they have been before.
