How Do I Add or Change a Background on My Product?
There are three ways to add or customize a background on your product using our online editor. The option you use depends on the product design and the level of customization you want.
Option 1: Change the Background Using the Color Wheel
Some designs allow direct background color changes. These products display a color wheel icon, indicating editable colors.
- Select Your Product
Browse our cards and choose a design that shows the color wheel icon. - Open the Product Editor
Click the “Customize” button. - Change the Background Color
- Click the background color hotspot or color icon.
- Select from the preset colors, or choose “Add New Color” to create a custom shade.
- Optional: Check “Apply to All Blocks” to use the same color throughout the design.
- Review Your Design
Preview all sides to confirm the background looks correct.
Option 2: Add a Background from the Artwork Library
If the color wheel is not available on your product, you can add a background using our built‑in artwork options.
- Click “Customize” to open the editor.
- Select Artwork Library from the toolbar.
- Navigate to the Backgrounds category.
- Select a background and place it onto your product.
Background artwork can be resized and positioned to fit your layout.
Option 3: Upload Your Own Image as a Background
You can also use your own artwork or image as a background.
- Open the editor by clicking “Customize.”
- Select Add Image from the toolbar.
- Upload your image file from your computer.
- Drag and drop the uploaded image onto your product.
- Resize and reposition the image so it covers the background area as desired.
This option is ideal if you want a photo, custom texture, or branded artwork to fill the background.
Final Tip
Always review your full preview before adding your product to the cart to ensure the background appears exactly as intended on all sides and panels.
