How Do I Add Signatures to a Card?

Yes! You can add a personalized signature to many cards and products using the Create Signature feature in the Product Editor.

Whether you'd like a polished signature-style font, your own handwritten signature, or a custom drawn signature, there are three easy ways to create and apply a signature to your design:

  • Text – Type your name and choose from signature-style fonts
  • Draw – Create a signature using your mouse, finger, or stylus
  • Upload – Upload an image of your handwritten signature

How to Add a Signature

  1. Open your product in the Product Editor.
  2. Select Create Signature from the left toolbar.
  3. Choose your preferred signature method: Text, Draw, or Upload.
  4. Create your signature and click Add Signature.
  5. Position, resize, or rotate the signature as desired within your design.

Option 1: Create a Signature with Text

The Text option is a quick and professional way to add a signature.

  • Enter your name or signature text
  • Choose from available signature-style fonts
  • Preview the appearance before adding it to your design
  • Reposition and resize the signature after it is added

This option is perfect if you want a clean, consistent signature without needing to draw or upload an image.

Option 2: Draw Your Signature

If you'd like a more personal touch, use the Draw tab to create your signature directly within the editor.

  • Draw using a mouse, trackpad, finger, or stylus
  • Create a handwritten signature in real time
  • Add the signature to your design with a single click

This option works well for customers who want the appearance of an authentic handwritten signature.

Option 3: Upload a Handwritten Signature

You can also upload an image of your actual signature.

For best results:

  • Sign your name on plain white paper using a dark ink pen
  • Scan or photograph the signature in good lighting
  • Crop the image closely around the signature
  • Use a transparent PNG file whenever possible for the cleanest appearance
  • If multiple signatures are needed, create a separate file for each signature

High-quality PNG files typically produce the best print results.

Customizing Your Signature

Once added to your design, signatures behave like other design elements and can typically be:

  • Moved to a different location
  • Resized larger or smaller
  • Rotated to achieve the desired look
  • Positioned alongside text, logos, or photos

Helpful Tips

  • Use Text for the fastest and easiest signature option.
  • Use Draw for a natural handwritten appearance.
  • Use Upload when you want to reproduce your actual signature.
  • Always preview your design before adding it to your cart.
