How Do I Apply Filters to an Uploaded Image?
Our Product Editor includes built-in image filters that allow you to quickly change the appearance of uploaded photos, artwork, logos, and other images without using separate photo-editing software.
Filters are a simple way to enhance your design, create a specific mood, or give multiple images a more consistent look and feel.
What Can Filters Do?
Filters can transform your image with a single click. Depending on the filter selected, you can:
- Enhance colors and contrast
- Create warmer or cooler tones
- Convert images to black and white
- Add high-contrast effects
- Create softer monochrome appearances
- Give photos a more professional or artistic look
Best of all, there is no need to edit and re-upload your image each time you want to try a different effect.
How to Apply a Filter
- Upload or select an existing image in the Product Editor.
- Open the Edit Image panel by selecting the image you wish to apply the filter to.
- Click Filters.
- Browse the available filter options.
- Select a filter to preview the effect.
- Click Save to apply the filter to your image.
Available Filter Styles
Available filters may vary, but commonly include categories such as:
- Natural: Preserves the original look of the image.
- Fresh: Enhances color vibrancy and brightness.
- Warm: Adds warmer color tones.
- Cool: Adds cooler color tones.
- Black & White: Converts the image to grayscale.
- High Contrast: Creates bold highlights and shadows.
- Soft Mono: Produces a softer monochrome appearance.
Can I Remove a Filter Later?
Yes. If you decide you no longer want the applied effect, simply return to the Filters menu and select Remove Filter.
This allows you to experiment with different looks before finalizing your design.
When Should I Use Filters?
- To improve the appearance of an uploaded photo
- To match multiple images within the same design
- To create a vintage, artistic, or professional style
- To convert color photos into black and white
- To make an image better complement your card's design and color scheme
Helpful Tips
- Try several filters before making a final decision.
- Use black-and-white filters for a classic, timeless look.
- Use warm or cool filters to better match your artwork and color palette.
- Preview your product before ordering to ensure the filter effect appears as expected.
Filters provide a quick and easy way to customize your uploaded images without needing to create and upload a new file each time you want a different look.
If you need assistance editing or enhancing an image, our customer service team is happy to help.
