Why Am I Seeing “This Section Is Not Customizable”?
Some products include panels or sections that cannot be personalized. If you click on one of these areas in the product editor, you may see the message:
This Section Is Not Customizable
Due to the way this item is printed, you cannot add personalization to this panel.
Why Can't I Customize This Area?
Certain products are designed with fixed artwork, printing methods, or specialty production processes that limit where personalization can be added.
Depending on the product, some panels may be reserved for:
- Pre-printed artwork or messaging
- Specialty finishes such as foil, embossing, or die-cut elements
- Areas that are restricted due to printing or production requirements
- Design elements intended to remain unchanged
Can I Customize Other Areas of the Product?
In most cases, yes. While one panel may be locked, other areas of the product may still allow you to add:
- Personalized text
- Names and signatures
- Photos and logos
- Custom artwork
- Additional messages or verses
Simply navigate to the other panels or editable areas within the product editor to continue customizing your design.
Can the Locked Area Be Unlocked?
No. Areas marked as non-customizable cannot be modified through the editor. These restrictions are built into the product design and help ensure the finished product prints correctly and maintains its intended appearance.
